Founded by the Caritas organization, this hotel employs refugees and immigrants, training them to become qualified hosts. Here, you'll discover a cosmopolitan atmosphere where over 20 languages are spoken.

The Magdas style is a mix of vintage objects and recycled materials, creating a space that is both eco-responsible and original. Rooms are decorated with reclaimed furniture, contemporary artworks donated by the Academy of Fine Arts, and unique details like coat racks from old trains. For the time being, we only offer trips from Lausanne, Fribourg and Geneva stations. Other departure stations will be added as they become available.

Absolutely! We work with eco-responsible accommodations (certified or in transition), and offer only soft mobility solutions, with local activities and events. We also promote environmentally-friendly practices and addresses. We calculate the impact of our trips and make sure it's as low as possible. So you can enjoy your trip while staying true to your values!

What documents do I need to travel?

To travel, you'll need: a valid passport, visas (if required) and (at your discretion) travel insurance. You'll find all the specific information for each destination on their respective pages.
