Why buy these clothes second-hand?

Hi, my name is Cyanea I'm 15 and I'm an intern at Ebooqueen😁. Why are you talking about this topic? Because I love shopping, but I prefer it if the clothes are cheaper and eco-responsible. So if you're into thrifty, eco-responsible shopping too, now's the time to hit the thrift stores!!!⭐

  1. First of all, you can find brand-name clothes at reasonable prices, and that's practically half the price in the store🧥! In Lausanne, prices for second-hand clothes vary from very low to very high. It all depends on the store. If you're looking for brand-name items or rare pieces, the price is bound to be high. But many thrift stores in Lausanne are low-priced, so it's a good option for those who want to save money and have their own style. 🛍️

  2. Buying at thrift stores is environmentally friendly, which helps extend the life of clothes🌿. The fashion industry is one of the most polluting in the world, because of all the products needed to manufacture textiles🌫. And it's also because of the natural resources the industry needs en masse to make them. So by buying second-hand, we limit this mass consumption. Simply by reusing clothes.♻️
  3. The clothes may look dirty to you if you've never been to a thrift store, but I assure you that's really not the case. These clothes are often described as "dirty" because of what people think, that the clothes have already been worn. But it's very often the opposite, because many second-hand stores really do take care of the clothes they put on sale. Some thrift stores even wash the clothes before they go on sale.🧼

  4. Do you like vintage? Do you like to have your own style?👜 Thrift stores are all about being yourself, choosing what you like and not having the same clothes as your girlfriends. In some second-hand stores, you'll find a lot of vintage. Each piece is unique in these stores, so you won't find two of the same.👖So go for the thrift shops !!!!🌸
